This place was really good! When my partner and I arrived, we got complimentary chips and beans with pico that started us on a beautiful food journey. We loved the spicy of the mole and the beans TRULY was delightful. I really liked this spot. Right on 9th and Washington and probably a great alternative if south Philly barbacoa is too packed or if you’re looking for something beyond tacos.
Excellent food. Authentic cuisine from Puebla. Nicely presented. Plate size is just perfect, not too big, not too small. The mole is delicious. They told me it’s made from scratch in Puebla and shipped to them. I tried the flan too. I recommend it. Also made in house. The owners cook and provide really friendly service. It is clear that they are very proud of the quality of their food.
